Sectors covered by NAK

NAK develops and manufactures a wide range of gaskets for numerous sectors: automotive, industry, agriculture, construction and household appliances. Each product is designed to meet the specific requirements of the most varied applications.

Automotive

NAK seals are used in transmission, steering, suspension and engine systems. They cover applications such as :

• Transmission and gearbox: seals adapted to space and temperature constraints, such as the Type AT model.

• Engines: seals designed for high-pressure, high-heat environments, such as Type G1.

• Suspension and steering systems: robust seals for shock absorbers, wheel shafts or steering boxes.

Industry

In the industrial sector, NAK seals are used in gearboxes, motors, pumps, power tools, robotic arms and wind turbines.

• Type WA seal: developed for washing machines, it provides optimum sealing against water and detergents.

• Type C seals: designed for a wide range of applications, they feature an outer rubber coating to improve sealing and provide excellent protection against external contamination.

Agriculture, construction and mining

NAK offers specific solutions such as the AP Seal, designed for the harshest environments (mud, dust, oil, grease). Its multi-lip design and unitary body make it an excellent protector against impurities.

The brand also offers a complete range of hydraulic and pneumatic seals (piston, rod, wiper, wear ring, etc.), made from rubber, polyurethane, PTFE or nylon, depending on operating conditions.

Type B seals are SPI seals with a 100% metal outer frame (no rubber lining). They offer solid, precise mounting in steel or cast-iron housings, but their external sealing is more limited than that of rubber-lined seals (type C).

Type B seal profiles:

• BB profile: Single-lip, steel spring, basic sealing, the Spi type B BB profile seal is reliable in clean environments.

• Profile BC: Double lip, steel spring, with a dust lip for enhanced protection against impurities.

• BD profile: single lip, no spring, excellent resistance to severe conditions (vibration, high mechanical stress)

Type C seals, characterized by an external rubber coating that improves sealing and ensures better resistance in steel, cast-iron, alloy or plastic housings.

Once again, there are different types of profile for Type C seals:

• CC or OAS profile: metal frame, rubber coating, double lip and spring. Here, protection is reinforced by a dust lip that blocks impurities.

• Profile CD: Metal frame, rubber coating, single lip without spring. Excellent resistance to severe conditions (vibration, mechanical stress).

• Profile KC: Reinforced armature, rubber lining, double lip without spring. Greater stability and strength in housing, available in single- or double-lip versions depending on the application.
