What is a GEZ rod end?

GEZ spherical rod end have the same technical characteristics and application areas as "GE" type spherical rods end. They can therefore be used in operating conditions with alternating high loads and shock loads. The difference with "GE" type spherical rods end lies in their dimensions. GEZ spherical rods end are used in applications requiring inch dimensions.

There are two main types of GEZ spherical rods end:

  • The GEZ..ES spherical rod end is a grooved radial rod end without seal for inch dimensions. The inside diameter ranges from 12.7 mm to 152.4 mm, and the sliding surface combination is steel/steel. This type of spherical plain bearing can withstand temperatures from -60 to 200°C.
  • GEZ..ES 2RS is a radial spherical rod end with seal for inch dimensions. The inside diameter ranges from 25.4 mm to 152.4 mm, and the sliding surface combination is steel/steel. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -60 to 130°C.
