These products are designed to guide, support, and move loads. They guarantee rigorous precision, minimal friction, and high performance. Within the industrial sector, they are widely used in automated systems, robotics, and machine tools.
These mechanical components are specifically designed for straight-line motion (translation). Ball bushings are mounted on linear shafts to provide support and guidance while reducing friction and stick-slip effects. Several types are available to meet various requirements:
Compact ball bushings (KH): Steel balls, plastic cage, and a sheet steel outer ring.
Solid series ball bushings, closed (KB - LME): Steel balls, plastic cage, and a solid steel outer ring.
Solid series ball bushings, open (LMEOP):** Unlike the closed versions, these are open to allow them to pass over supported shafts (support rails).
Solid series ball bushings, adjustable: Slotted bushings used to adjust the clearance between the shaft and the bushing.
Solid series tandem ball bushings (KBL): Identical to solid bushings but with double the length for increased stability.
Flanged ball bushings (round or square) (KBK): Identical operation to solid bushings, with an added flange providing an alternative mounting method (reducing the required bore length and overall housing size).
Sometimes referred to as "linear blocks" or "runner blocks," these are mounted on profiled rails and offer superior contact surface and rigidity. They allow for the movement of very heavy loads while maintaining extreme precision (to the millimetre). Our range offers several types:
Four-row ball carriages (KWVE): Standard models capable of supporting loads from various directions.
High-rigidity carriages (CGH): Increased resistance to tilting moments.
Miniature carriages (MGN): Smaller and ultra-compact for space-restricted applications.
A bearing unit is a rigid housing used to secure a ball bushing to the moving part of a machine. It acts as an interface between the guide shaft and the load to be moved, while also protecting the bushing. We offer various types of bearing units:
Closed standard bearing units (LUJR, SMA, LUNF): Classic models that fully enclose the shaft.
Open bearing units (SBR, LUHR, KGSNO): Feature an opening on the underside to accommodate supported shafts.
Tandem or double bearing units (LTBR): Twice as long, offering increased load capacity.
Self-aligning bearing units (LUCD, KGSNS): Designed to compensate for parallelism misalignments in the machine structure.
The guide rail is a fixed element that ensures high-precision guidance for a moving part and supports heavy loads. Several types are available:
Profiled rails (TKVD, TKSD, and SHS): Used for high-precision guidance in conjunction with ball carriages.
Linear ball rails (TR and SC): More suitable for heavy-duty industrial guidance on round shafts.
The operation of a ball screw nut is based on the integration of balls between the screw and the nut. These transform rotational motion into linear translation. The motion is smoother with significantly less friction than traditional lead screws. Several types are available:
Single-flanged nuts (FSI/FSIN): Feature a flange with mounting holes, designed to be fixed to the moving part of the machine.
Cylindrical nuts (RSI): Without a flange, suitable for installation into cylindrical housing bores.
